Does Hong Kong issue certificates of good standing?

Not under that name. The Companies Registry issues a Certificate of Continuing Registration, which certifies that the company remains registered at the date of issue and is widely accepted as proof of status. Certified copies of filed documents can be added if the recipient also wants to see directors or other particulars.
